Essential Responsibilities
- Own the product requirements, design history files and system compliance documentation of the full CARESCAPE patient monitor product and hw.
- Work from requirements and design change planning to design creation and verification to transfer of the design to manufacturing. For example, when system compliance requirements are changing and product design (hw) or labeling needs to be adjusted.
- Follow GE’s Design Change Process and document completed technical work.
- Support with clinical team on post-market product performance assessment.
- Collaborate with related internal design teams, suppliers, and other cross-functions in multi-cultural and global environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, Computer Science or Telecommunication or equivalent.
- Knowledge across product design projects, requirements management, testing and product documentation.
- Experience from product development or product manufacturing activities.
- Deep desire to work on product design/documentation and interest to develop into an expert.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Finnish language skill is a benefit.
- EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree in, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, Computer Science or Telecommunication or equivalent.
- Ability to facilitate activities within own team and with suppliers, including driving regular collaboration mechanisms.
- Experience in working in regulated industry under quality management system, like medical devices.
- Experience with country regulation and standards compliance.
- Creative problem solver and team player.
