Health Rep Manager Primary Care & Specialty [Egypt]


 
Position Summary:
Deliver and implement all the marketing strategies and promotional activities for assigned portfolio, in an assigned Geography and/or Therapy Area, to ensure that the resources are made available to all customer facing colleagues, in order to maximize patient impact while delivering on the financial objectives for the assigned Geography and/or Therapy Area, Through guiding and coaching his/her Health Reps to improve their efficiency to achieve optimum performance of both Sales and Non-Sales KPIs in full compliance alignment with Pfizer Values, Global Guidelines (including MAPP, FCPA), policies, and SOP’s
Primary Tasks:
  • Share in planning and executing marketing plans to meet company objectives of sales in the market.

    Manage and guide the activities of his/her Health Reps to ensure the best use of their time, enhance their efficiency and ensure their selling efforts are focusing on predetermined list of prioritized objectives
  • Forecast Sales performance and track progress towards target
  • Plan, organize and monitor activities of his/her Health Reps in a timely manner to achieve required objectives through group meetings, review call reports and call plans and ensure their best time.
  • Assign sales territory to Health Reps and analyzes sales statistics to ensure the proper deployment of his sales team.
  • Interview new candidates and select the appropriate ones for the Health Rep. Job.
  • Develop systems that will enhance the efficiency, analyze the activities and ensure proper feed back (i.e. call reporting system, call planning, customer tracking...etc.)
  • Personally negotiate large sales contracts.
  • Assist or participate in developing sales campaigns, seminars and symposia to accommodate company’s goals.
  • Study, analyze market and watch closely the competition, report findings to his boss and other concerned departments.
  • Develop communication channels with his team and with other departments and improve the quality of ongoing information
  • Prepare and submits periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales growth
  • Controls expenditures of his Health Reps according to the Business Unit budgetary requirements
  • Train Health Reps on new campaigns, preparation of slide decks and other promotional tools.
  • Collecting Health Reps feedback and communicate with Marketing, Medical & Training departments to prepare the appropriate answers for their inquiries.
  • Assist in communicating the marketing plan to the field sales force and assure its implementation by means of personal contact in the field.
  • Perform additional assigned duties and responsibilities as relevant: POA, review and implement marketing strategies, budgeting, budget review.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing to ensure the establishment of realistic sales forecasts and expense budgets.
  • Inform the management of market challenges, opportunities and competitive activities.
  • Participate in the selection of supportive materials from the marketing department to meet the market’s emerging needs.
  • Determining area of improvement, investigating causes of poor performance with Health Reps and communicate with Category Lead and People experience to define and implementing corrective measures.
Level of Responsibility:
Tasks are performed under the general direction of the Customer Engagement Lead, however, the incumbent is fully responsible for the business and financial results of his identified responsibility.

Essential Personal / Technical Qualifications:
  • Medical - pharmaceutical background is preferred.
  • Min 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • High digital adoption.
  • Very Good English language.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience in high level analysis, building strategies and innovation of project execution.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
